The events taking place in Nikea are not created separately from the residents and the local community, but the goal is for them tto be co-created. In March 2023, we placed imagination boxes in four shared courtyards, collecting ideas for possible ways of reactivation. Then we visited the four courtyards, opened the boxes, and hang the residents' ideas on a clothes line; in a similar way that clothes are hang all over Nikea's public spaces to dry. We wanted to let the ideas sit, discuss them in a group, and shape them with everyone around each building block. Through these 4 visits, we created the program of events of 2023 that followed in May-June and September-October.
